Release written by senior internship student Natalie Baron.
On Thursday, November 17, the senior class enjoyed their senior tea event. Senior tea is a semi-formal dinner for the class, family and friends featuring performances from band and choir students as well as an art exhibit. Refreshments, including cookies and punch, were served to the attendees.
There were several performances that afternoon. The senior chorus members sang the National Anthem and Finale B, and the senior band members played Fantasy on an American Classic (Shenandoah). Also featured were: Clara Bolton and Dylan Roath performing Duet #3 for Tuba, Audrey Pask performing Song from a Secret Garden on Bb clarinet, Natalie Baron and McKenzie Olmstead singing Landslide, Hailey Crawford performing A Prayer for Peace on flute, and Nicholas Andrews performing You’ll Never Walk Alone on trombone.
The art exhibit included student paintings, drawings, clay sculptures, and photography. It featured works from students Natalie Bertsch, Hailey Crawford, Emma Foote, Jasmine Kremer, McKenzie Olmstead, and Grace Plank. Furthermore, Emma Foote’s cover design is displayed on the program.
The senior class would like to thank everyone who helped make this event a memorable occasion. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate senior tea, and to everyone who helped set or clean up. Thanks also to the junior class ushers.
