Several Albion High School students have been recognized by outside organizations for their academic achievement and commitment to the community. Below are the honorees for the 2021-2022 school year:
NYS Attorney General Triple C Award: Recognizes the courage, character and commitment of New York State's outstanding students - Hannah Papponetti, Alicia Allen
NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli's Student Achievement Award: Recognizes students who have shown academic excellence and potential for leadership through involvement in activities that improved the school or community - Belen Rosario Soto, Carson Bader
University of Rochester Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award: Recognizes a student who demonstrates strong grades in rigorous courses in humanities and social sciences, leadership and dedication to community action, and a commitment to understanding and addressing difficult social issues - Samantha Basinait
University of Rochester Bausch and Lomb Award: Recognizes a student who demonstrates high achievement and rigor in science and math classes, and has made positive contributions to their school and community - Audrey Pask
University of Rochester George Eastman Young Leaders Award: Recognizes a student who demonstrates high grades and challenging courses, has strong leadership experience at school and in the community, and extensive involvement in extracurricular activities - Nicholas Andrews
Wells College 21st Century Award: Is given in recognition to a student who has made outstanding contributions as a student and leader - Natalie Baron, Dallas Ecker
UFCW Local One Benefit Funds Scholarship Program: Is awarded to a member or a dependent of a member of the UFCW. It is based upon GPA, timeliness, essay content and school/community activities - Olivia Miller
Keuka College The George H. Ball Community Achievement Award: Nicholas Andrews
School Administrators Association of New York State Region 12 Principal's Scholarship: Recognizes a student who is a well-rounded student who has shown outstanding success during their high school career - Jeffrey Brown
