Dear Purple Eagle Families,
The safety of your child, and all children, in our schools as well as the safety of the school staff is very important to us. In order to maintain a safe environment, it is necessary to practice emergency drills (such as fire, lockdown, etc.).
This year these drills will be handled a little differently. Pursuant to the new Education Law, parents/ guardians will receive a notification one (1) week prior to any drill being conducted.
This will be a general notification and will not provide specifics about the type of drill nor the day or time it is scheduled. Please take the time to update your contact information with the District and discuss the importance of these drills with your child.
If you or your child has any questions, please contact your child's specific school building.
