Five seniors from Albion High School graduated from Genesee Community College (GCC) this May ahead of their high school graduation in June.
Albion seniors Jason Anstey, Finn McCue, Meganne Moore, Lucy Rivers and Jackie Santiago all graduated from GCC, obtaining their associates degree, on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
“We are very thankful for our collaborative relationship with GCC,” Albion High School Principal Jennifer Ashbery said. “Together, we encourage our students to take the opportunity and engage with college level courses before they leave our halls.”
Out of the 15 early graduates in the Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming (GLOW) region, Albion had five students who graduated from the community college about a month before earning their high school diploma.
