ALBION, N.Y. - Albion residents voted today to approve the 2023-2024 school budget, with 244 residents voting "yes."
Voters also approved Propositions 2 through 4, and elected Porsche Taylor to the Albion Central School District Board of Education. She will begin her 5 year term on July 1, 2023.

The 2023-2024 school budget passed by a margin of 244-66, the bus purchase 259-48, the Hoag Library budget 239-69 and the establishment of a transportation reserve fund for the acquisition of school buses and similar vehicles (and related equipment). The total budget comes in at $41,814,847 with no tax increase for district residents, marking the 15th time in the past 16 years that the tax levy has either decreased or remained the same.
