The annual fourth grade spelling bee took place on Thursday afternoon with three students advancing on to the regional competition.
Kyler Bennett, Korey Ginger and Nikko Russo finished as the top three while Oliver Beryle took fourth place and will be the alternate for regionals. The next step in the competition will take place in Lockport on May 13.
Competitors this year were Eli Johnson, Ethan Olles, Heidi Roberts, Colton Moreland, Lukas Snyder, Madalyn Crouser, Benson Narburgh, Maelynn Taylor, Ermina Pacheco Vasquez, Addison Colburn, Viktor Rickner, Amaya Anicua, Addison Jaczynski and Gavin Standish.
