The Albion Purple Eagles competed in Unified Bowling for the first time this January.
The team will give the Purple Eagles a new opportunity for more students to represent the District in a competitive sport. Student-athletes will team up with Peer Mentors for their season.

According to Randy Knaak, interim Director of Athletics, this has been a long time coming.
Albion’s co-ed team is co-coached by Keith Akers and Bayli Schlierf, teachers at Albion High School, who are both excited to help provide students with this new opportunity.
The season runs from the beginning of January through February with practices at Oak Orchard Lanes in Albion. The Purple Eagles will compete in five matches this year, with three home and two away. Their first home game was on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 against Medina.
